My Degus love it, but I was expecting it to be quieter. It makes a clinking noise as they run on it otherwise no issues with it.

We have used the plastic wheels that attach to the cage walls but they rattle a lot when our chinchilla runs on them. This wheel is much much better. We got the 14" which is a bit large but works fine. It's not entirely silent but we think some of that is his weight. :-D

I bought the 11 inch wheel for my Syrian hamster and she loves it! Literally is always on it! She cannot have a regular wheel because she climbed it and escaped twice so this was the PERFECT ALTERNATIVE! She loves spinning on it, eating her meals and treats, and hide under it when she doesn't want to be bothered. Additionally, I'm not worried about her back or body being turned too much while running. It does not look like she is hurting herself while running.
For reference: The 11in wheel fits in a 40 gallon Zilla Reptile tank.
I have two Prairie Dog girls. I would have preferred the larger Treadmill Wheel. However, it was out of stock. They are still young and this works perfect for them right now. As you know, Prairie Dogs love to chew anything and everything. With this being all metal, they cannot do any harm to it at all. It’s well made and works just as it should!
