Unsafe foods are dangerous to opossums because they can cause harm or injury to the animal due to their attributes.
- Wild Insects (may carry diseases or pesticides)
- Dairy (causes diarrhea in large amounts)
UNHEALTHY FOODS
Unhealthy foods won’t necessarily cause lasting harm to opossums but should still be avoided because of the negative impact on their health.
- Beef and Pork (too much fat)
- Other High-Fat Foods
- High Sugar Foods
- High Sodium Foods
