I just got this cage for my notoriously picky chin, and she loves it!!! It is a great size, and strong enough for her jumping and flipping! It’s also really easy to clean!!! The building process was a LITTLE confusing, but very worth it!
I was looking for an upgrade for my rats. This is definitely it. I love that the platforms are not plastic. The only down fall to this cage is that it is hard to clean the shelves since only one door opens. I also don't like that the stairs are always moving. My only other complaint is that there is no brakes on the wheels. Cause when I do clean or go into the cage I'm always moving it. Other than that my rats love this cage. Everything is easy to clean. I am missing another steps cover to go on the steps. They only sent one. I have been using blankets.

It’s difficult to find a quality cage made for rats and this one was a pleasant surprise. It’s better than the pictures and videos. I like that they added the plexiglass on the second addition. It seems this company pays attention to customer reviews and needs. It was worth the money. Thank you! Our three musketeers love it!
Chinchilla seems to love it!!! Building it wasn’t super super hard, love how everything is metal, if you have a chin you def know they chew on any and everything so metal is definitely a must. Overall super study and my chin seems to love it!

Overall decent build quality, instructions for door assembly is confusing as well as which screws go with what. I've built many pieces of furniture over the years however the instructions for this unit is a little below average. Cage is much small than competition by a few inches in different dimensions but still a decent size. Having chinchillas bouncing around the plastic shields rattle and make quite a bit of noise. Love the idea of the shields, perhaps needs to fit tighter. Removable tray a good idea but still doesn't make much sense to clean as animals will still need contained prior to. Not a poor concept though. Having two doors open on each floor would be ideal but not a major deal breaker. Overal it's a decent product and fairly well built.

We do offer a larger option, our Borneo Cage, for those who need a bit more space for their chinchillas to bounce around. We also appreciate your suggestion for having two doors on each floor and will definitely take that into consideration for future designs.
