Exotic Nutrition's Natural Rope offers pets endless opportunities for climbing fun within the cage. This Jungle Canopy Toy provides enrichment while keeping your pet engaged with its wire core, allowing you to bend the rope into different shapes.

Suitable for lightweight, climbing animals such as: sugar gliders, marmosets, rats, hamsters, degus, squirrels, parrots and other small birds.

Medium: 35” long overall, 31.5" long rope, 1.25” rope thickness 
Large: 51.5” long overall, 47.25” long rope, 1” rope thickness 

  • Primarily comprised of jute material and animal-safe hardware.
  • Connects easily to wire cage bars with metal washers and wingnuts on each side.

All captive animals require accessories to provide entertainment in the cage, especially when left alone for extended periods. It is imperative for mental and physical health to have an array of stimulating toys available at all times. Add 2-3 accessories to your pet's cage and switch them out regularly for continued stimulation. Always supervise pets at play. Thoroughly inspect toys and accessories on a daily basis. Wipe product clean with a damp soft cloth as needed before returning it to the cage.

Has a bad smell

I hate to give a bad rating, but these have a strong chemical smell. I've tried to air them out, but the smell is still there. I won't be able to use these for my animals.

Kathy, we apologize for any inconvenience the smell of our Natural Ropes may have caused. The Natural ropes are made with jute material, which is commercially manufactured with a mineral oil called “Jute Batching Oil” to clean, soften, and lubricate the raw jute. This helps prevent rotting when stored. While the oil is not harmful, it can have a strong smell. If you prefer, we also offer ropes made of cotton, such as our Flex Rope, Cross Rope, Jumbo Climbing Rope, and Bungie Spring. We hope this information helps and we appreciate your feedback.

Perfect size and well made

I use these for my cockatoo. Cotton rope perches last a week with her chewing them like paper. These are perfect and fit her cage like a glove. 36 inches. Please never stop producing them. Another major company used to make them in this exact size but stopped years ago. I want her to have both wooden and rope perches for variety. Thank you for this great product.
