We adore this cage for our prairie dogs. The ONLY downfall is that the shelves and ladders for the cage are not available with our cage purchase. One of our babies injured his foot and required an emergency veterinary trip on the first night in his new home because of a fall from the interior top of the cage. That being said, Exotic Nutrition’s customer service has been in contact with us about the release date of the shelves and ladders. The customer service is fantastic and the cage itself is beautiful, true to size, sturdy, and easily assembled. We’ll be purchasing the shelves and ladders as soon as they’re released, and we’ll continue to purchase from Exotic Nutrition for our critters needs! Seriously, can’t ask for better customer service or quality!
The first cage came damaged but they replaced the parts quickly, I only have good things to say about them. Exotic nutrition is a great company and they go the extra mile to make sure that your satisfied. They need to get a new shipment carrier, FedEx is terrible at damaging things.

I bought the cage for my finches. My daughter bought me the add on. They both are so well made. The add-on was a breeze to put together. The only thing I got from the company i was disappointed on was the square mate. I got six too have 3 to was and 3 clean ones. They did srink. But love love the cage. And add- on. So welll made!
This cage isn't that much larger than my bird's last one, and yet it seems HUUUUUUGE in comparison. The full length doors make getting in to clean easy.
I do recommend having a spare set of hands to make assembly easy, but I managed on my own with a little creative positioning.
