Storage Instructions: It is recommended to prepare fresh milk replacer for each feeding whenever possible. Prepared milk replacer can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. To store individual portions, measure the formula using the syringe then squeeze the portioned formula into an ice cube tray. Store the unmixed powder in a cool, dark place up to the best by date.

Great stuff

Nursing a baby squirrel that fell out if nest during a storm. She is thriving on this formula. she lovess it and is growing like crazy.

Excellent!

Contains Artificial Flavor & BHT & BHA as Preservatives

When I saw that E.N. had a milk replacer for my joeys, I got excited and ordered it. I've been giving them puppy replacement milk. After receiving this milk and then carefully reading all of the ingredients, I thought: How could they?! I'd be curious to know what is the artificial flavor that they are assuming these wild animals need in their food. They certainly don't need to be forced to eat. Egg and apple juice is added to young Virginia opossum formula any way. They are foodies! And then seeing BHA & BHT, which is banned in Europe, was a no brainer. I'm not using it. E.N. doesn't offer free shipping so I'll give this away or trash it since I don't want to promote toxins for wildlife. E.N. needs to change the description which states: No preservatives. That's what BHA & BHT are; they are linked to cancer.

Wonderful substance

Instructions are specific and there is an extra site with additional information contained in the site. All three baby squirrels are still alive and healthy after 6 weeks. I attribute that to this formula. It is doing exactly what it is supposed to. Thanks!

Just why?

I ordered this product because of the reviews. Also I felt like I needed it. The major problem I have is it contains Cobalt sulfate and I can't find any positive reason for it to be in the formula. It's a carcinogen. Our little baby squirrel died the first day that we gave it to her. I'm afraid to use it.
