I love this cage. Does require 2 people to put together. The back pieces were hard to tell apart.

I have a cheaper cage that works fine but is flimsy, the borno cage is so much more durable! We will be buying another one for our next bird. Also customer support is A+.

Nice Cage / Aviary

Came well packed and with all the tools needed to assemble it. It was very easy to assemble by myself in less than 45 min. Good to see that there were spare screws in the package.

Missing pieces, holes and cheap materials

I was so excited for this cage, the price is comparable to a critter nation but isn’t near the quality. First they have been sold out of the shelves for months so I ended up buying the cage plus the extension without shelves. And there’s no option to buy them separately later. I do really like the solid panel idea because it means less places to escape. The sizing between bars is great for my rats. The instructions are not very detailed and I honestly looked at the photos and ended up putting it together in a different order since I was by myself. but it’s not overly hard to put together. It took me about three hours. I had to bend multiple bars back into place before putting it together because of the light weight cheaper metal used. After putting it together there are little gold inserts in some of the panels to hold them together but since their missing in a lot of the panels the whole back of mine is currently held together with zip ties. I also had to remove the middle door in order to get the screws in between the first and second front panels. After all the struggles to get the door off, I found out one of the panels didn’t have a hole drilled where the other panels did. So that had to be zip tied as well, in that spot. Overall not a bad cage I do love the size and how easy it is to put together but if I have to buy another cage I don’t think this one is worth the money.
