Our wild squirrels liked the squirrel balls better than the blocks. With time, I think they will like them.

Great For Release Squirrels

Contents good for a squirrel being raised for release. Protein level too high and sunflower seeds too high in phosphorus - will cause MBD in long term, indoor pet squirrels. Can be used as a treat but captive squirrels over 1 year should be on a 14% protein rodent block with calcium supplement.

I only bought these thinking that my squirrel would like them but when they arrived and I gave them to her she just turned her nose up to them! So here I go again spending money that I don't have only to give them to my girlfriend that has a squirrel! I can't afford to keep doing this!
