Wasn't sure how well this ball would do but I added a fruit and nut blend of wild bird seed plus some soldier fly larvae bought here and it is being eaten. My biggest surprise is how large the container is. Picture looks smaller. Glad I bought 2. -
My hens love it! It took about 3 days for them to approach it, but once they figured it out, the mealworms were gone within hours! -Julie J.
We filled ours with black oil sunflower seeds and our chickens are so happy! It keeps them from hoovering all of their treats at once, too. The ball feels well made and I think it will last through the wet Pacific NW winter just fine. -Libby
I have mine hanging for my avian friends, but dried worms escape too easily and fall to the ground. -Robert S.
My girls (chickens and ducks) love it and I do too. I don't waste my expensive meal worms just tossing them on the ground and I am using much less than before because they have to work for their treats. -
