Had to take this away from my squirrel within a few minutes , he broke off some big chunks of it and seems the hard mesh inside got stuck on his teeth. He fought rubbing his mouth for awhile but finally got it off but for some reason his teeth still fill scratchy ever sense. Would not recommend this for a squirrel... -Karen K.

The wooden rods in the middle are already chewed through. Easily destroyed by a rabbit but very cute. -Linda M.
