My little guy is nice and healthy with this as part of his diet he eats just about everything in it except for the buds
This is a squirrel snack. It should NOT be used for anything but a treat a couple times a week in small proportions. It's has everything they love, like candy to a kid. Other than that, it's great. It's variety as a treat is great.
I rehab orphaned and injured raccoons and this is a huge part of their diet. Once released they come back every day for this food. Highly recommend.
There is a ground squirrel that lives outside my condo. I bought a healthy nut mix for it but I knew it needed other nutrients. I had some issues giving it vegetables. It didn't seem to like them much and ants would get to it after sitting for a while. I bought a bag of this to try and give it a healthy diet. It eats most of it. There is some small orange pieces leftover. Maybe from a dried fruit. I'm going to buy a 15lb bag for it. I had bought a bag of a nut mix for it last September but it seemed to disappear. I guess it went into hibernation although there was still some warm days left in the year. Hopefully it sticks around. I got lucky I found this website. I didn't notice this mix on Amazon. I think a lot of people would buy it on there if it was available with Prime and had better photos/description. -Jesse W
I was a rehabber years ago. I have two squirrels that we were unable to release. The male only has one usable hand to eat and the other imprinted and does not like to come out of her cage. This food gives them the fill in nutrition that they need. -Shery S
