Made in China😩 don't know what or how they raised the worms??

We received your product review for the Dried Mealworms and are so sorry to hear you are disappointed in the country of origin for this product!

Similar to a great majority (about 99%) of dried mealworm distributors in the U.S., we source our dried mealworms from manufacturers in China. The major difference between mealworms from China versus the U.S. is the price. Importing from a larger manufacturer allows our customers to enjoy this great product at a very affordable price (around $55 for 10 lb. bag). Mealworms from the U.S. and difficult to source and range upwards of $190 for the same amount, more than 300% higher in price.

If you are concerned about the safety of this product, the mealworms are all-natural and do not contain dangerous additives such as formaldehyde or melamine. Our products are regularly inspected by the FDA, USDA, and US Fish & Wildlife when being imported to assure their quality and safety. Our dried mealworms are fed by thousands of U.S. customers every year and are a great source of protein for bluebirds, chickens, and all other insectivores.
