I gave it a 4.0 because the instructions are a joke and none of the pieces are labeled. However, I was able to figure it out. Aldo, this should have come either way a shelf option as I hit this fit my 2 chinchillas.
They hate their carrier so I got this fit when I clean out their regular cage so they can rest easy. One of my chins literally goes into a panic when I put him in a carrier. It makes me sad so I hit this ZooPro Travel cage since it’s similar to his real cage. It’s substantially smaller than his cage so he still seemed upset but not as bad and I think he will adjust for short periods of time.
This travel cage is solidly built. It's also the roomiest travel cage I've found.
Putting it together was a little tricky. The instructions didn't do a great job of differentiating the screws, and one screw for cross-threaded. Thankfully, extra screws were provided.
The wooden perch is pretty useless. This cage is marketed for sugar gliders, but the perch is more suited for parrots. It would be better if it came with a shelf similar to those in their cages.
Those are minor issues, however. It's a great cage at the price. I've seen sugar glider travel cages on Facebook and Etsy made of cloth and netting that are smaller and almost $200.

Perfect!
Love it! Easy to assemble, good sturdy cage. It will be perfect to bring my cockatiels home in
Before I purchased this cage, I messaged customer service about the wire floor since rats can't have a wire floor. I was told the wire floor was removable and that there would be a small gap without it. I asked the size of the gap, and they said that information was "not available at this time" but that it was about 1/2" spacing like the rest of the bars. WELL that is not true. The gap is actually 3/4" wide and that is too much space, my rats might squeeze out. Now I have to try and figure out how to close the gap. It would be helpful if they had a metal bar that hangs down like they do on their 2story cages, that would have been perfect.
Crystal, thank you for your feedback regarding our ZooPro Pet Travel Cage. We apologize for any confusion about the wire floor. It was mentioned that removing the wire floor would leave a small gap, and we apologize if this information was not clear. Please note that although rats should have a solid floor for their daily housing, the wire floor on our travel cage is designed for short durations and is perfectly safe. However, we appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration for future improvements.
